Business Aviation mourns the passing the HM Queen Elizabeth II

(This was the longest of any British monarch and the second-longest recorded of any monarch of a sovereign country).

We capture a selection of those messages below. Meanwhile, if you would like to add to our list, or share personal memories of meeting the Queen, please email responses here.

“Regardless of where you stand on the place of monarchies in a modern world, I think everyone respected the dedication and dignity with which Queen Elizabeth II carried out her duties, right up until the very end. She was a unifying figure sitting above politics, never voicing her opinion, but instead listening. In an increasingly bifurcated partisan society perhaps we can all learn a little from the example she set.”
