CB SkyShare, the premier regional jet share program in the Western U.S., announced it has tapped two leading figures from their respective industries to fill newly created roles. Tommy Aoki, former SVP for Operations and Digital Strategy at Spring Mobile, is named President of CB SkyShare while Jonathan Schaedig has been selected as Director of Maintenance.
Both positions were created as part of CB SkyShare’s corporate planning to meet its rapid growth as a leading player in the U.S. jet share market, and will report to Cory Bengtzen, Founder and CEO.

At Spring Mobile, Aoki oversaw all day-to-day operations including the departments of finance, BP&A, real estate, purchasing & logistics, loss prevention, marketing, omnichannel and workforce management. As head of the company’s Simply Mac division—Apple’s largest authorized sales and service partner in North America—he oversaw $1B in annual revenue and delivered on a plan to improve operating income by $20M. Prior to Spring Mobile, Aoki served as VP of Sales & Operations of GameStop’s Cricket Wireless division, where he led a $5M improvement in 18 months that led to the division’s first profitable year and subsequent sale of the division in 2016.
Schaedig, CB SkyShare’s newly appointed Director of Maintenance, brings more than 15 years as an FAA Certified mechanic, including 10 years with an Inspection Authorisation. Schaedig previously served as Director of Maintenance at California-based Desert Jet and, before that, worked at Seven Bar Aviation for 11 years where he rose from a base technician to base lead, a role that included managing nine pilots.
The creation of the two new roles is reflective of CB SkyShare’s continued growth and expansion. The company recently established a presence as a FBO at Salt Lake City International Airport, opening early next year. Aoki will be based in the Salt Lake City office, while Schaedig will be based at the company’s headquarters in Ogden, UT.
CB SkyShare has dramatically simplified private aviation by providing premium, personal customer experiences. These tailored offerings include charter services for those flying less than 15 days per year or seeking trips on-demand; jet sharing for those flying more than 20 days per year but less than 250, and looking to have full staff provided, including pilots, crews, and maintenance teams; or full-ownership for those who fly regularly and/or wish to own their own aircraft while still receiving full, reciprocal access to SkyShare’s entire, rapidly growing fleet of PC-12s, CJ2s, and G200s at SkyShare owner rates – ensuring that there is a program available for every type of modern traveller.
