Aviation finance lawyer Chris Orozco-Wallraff has joined gunnercooke as a partner. He specialises in representing aircraft and engine buyers, sellers, owners, lessors, and operators, including passenger and cargo airlines, particularly in leasing, trading, finance, maintenance and related transactions.
Orozco-Wallraff speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and Catalan so most frequently represents his clients in international transactions.
He previously worked at Rimon Law, Holland & Knight and Kaye Scholer and was also in-house counsel at International Lease Finance Corporation (now AerCap), one of the largest commercial aircraft leasing companies.
Originally a UK law firm, gunnercooke has expanded recently and now has offices in the UK, Germany and the US. More than 90% of its partners have worked as in-house counsel at some point.
