CO Fire CEO Kyle Scott Lost in Ag Aviation Accident

The co-founder and CEO of CO Fire Aviation, Kyle Scott, lost his life during an aerial application flight yesterday while flying an AT-602 in Colorado. Scott founded Scott Aviation in Fort Morgan Colorado providing aerial application services before the founding of CO Fire Aviation in 2020. Both companies operate primarily out of their Fort Morgan base which also includes the Fort Morgan Airport FBO run by Scott Aviation. CO Fire Aviation has been a successful aerial firefighting company for several years, providing SEAT aircraft on contracts in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.

In addition to his flying duties, Kyle was an active National Agricultural Aviation Association member and the SEAT Operators Association President for aerial firefighting.

Kyle was a friend to many, a proud husband and father, and will be sorely missed by the industry. Our thoughts are with Kyle’s family and the entire Scott Aviation and CO Fire Aviation families.
