Greenpoint Technologies accepts to fit out BBJ MAX 8

Greenpoint Technologies has accepted delivery of a BBJ MAX 8 from Boeing this week. The Washington-based business jet interior completion centre said it will fit the BBJ on behalf of an undisclosed V-VIP client.

“We are honoured by the trust V-VIP clients place into Greenpoint with their aircraft,” said Chad Thorne, Greenpoint senior director of Sales.

“Taking delivery of the BBJ MAX on behalf of our client signifies the confidence placed in Greenpoint’s unparalleled capabilities. We create beautiful aircraft interiors and build lasting relationships along the way. This is how Greenpoint delivered the world’s first BBJ3 (737-900 variant), 787-8 and 747-8 V-VIP aircraft, and how we look to the future with our BBJ MAX clients.”

The BBJ’s owner sought out Greenpoint’s assistance with the delivery because of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the delivery, Greenpoint will assist with repositioning the aircraft for auxiliary fuel tank installation, then induct the aircraft into Greenpoint’s installation facility in Moses Lake, Washington.

The BBJ delivery comes after Greenpoint completed its fourth V-VIP Boeing 787-8 interior completion in December last year. To date, Greenpoint has contracted six V-VIP Boeing 787 programmes and completed four.
