Business aircraft broker jetAVIVA has reported record-breaking sales last year and promoted Emily Deaton to the role of CEO.
Last year saw the highest annual revenue in the company’s 15-year history, after closing more than 100 transactions. JetAVIVA has also maintained market share leadership in a number of categories, including the Citation Excel, Pilatus PC24, Phenom 100 among others, claims the company.
Last week JetAVIVA identified looking beyond US borders overseas as “a great option to identify quality aircraft”. But such transactions required additional steps and details that need to be managed in order to import or export an aircraft to another country, it warned. Items to consider when purchasing an aircraft internationally include closing location, clean aircraft title, deregistration/tail number changes, import/export flight, and customs clearance.
“Because these transactions are oftentimes too complicated for the average buyer to tackle, there are some good opportunities to be had. Fortunately for our clients, jetAVIVA has in-depth knowledge and experience in these types of transactions to streamline the process.”
Meanwhile, the company has promoted Deaton to CEO from her previous role of chief operational officer. She will succeed Tim White who has led the firm since 2016. White will become vice chairman alongside company founder and executive chairman, Cyrus Sigari.

I feel confident that together with president Ryan Scott, they will continue to build on our company’s history of performance as they lead jetAVIVA into the future.”
Deaton said: “jetAVIVA has a proven model that has resulted in it becoming an authority in the world of business aviation. I am honoured to be able to lead the company and build on this foundation.” The new CEO joined the Melbourne, Florida-based company in early 2019 as vice president of Sales. She was appointed chief operating officer in March 2020 – a week before the global pandemic sparked widespread shutdowns. Deaton previously held leadership positions in Customer Relationship Management Strategy and Customer Experience at Embraer Executive Jets.
The top line of Deaton’s work profile on jetAVIVA’s website reads: “All about people and processes. Loves flipping houses. Has more kids that you.”
