JetHQ adds to its international aircraft sales capabilities by expanding to meet the needs of clients in Egypt. The aircraft transaction and brokerage company announces that Sherif Abouzeid will head the newly created office within the country as Vice President of Sales-Egypt.
Abouzeid comes to JetHQ after a decade of experience in commodities and import/export. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Global Countertrade & Offset Co., LTD., located in Cairo.
“Sherif has a proven ability to envision working hypotheses and seeing them through,” says JetHQ Founder and Managing Director Garett Jerde. “His understanding of the premium goods market translates well to the needs of aviation buyers and sellers. With a pipeline of opportunities in the public and private sector, he is well-positioned to tap into a diverse network to benefit his clients.”
Fluent in English and Arabic, Abouzeid possesses experience managing and expanding the relationship between the Egyptian Aviation Authority and a commodities company. He also co-founded a popular watersports facility group, which built locations throughout the country, including the Sinai, Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts. Those facilities rank among the most popular destinations for both Egyptians and tourists alike. He is a graduate of Suffolk University in Boston.
Abouzeid joins a robust JetHQ Middle East team, which includes operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He will work under Rebecca Johnson, President of JetHQ EMEA. Earlier this year, JetHQ also expanded its footprint with India, Latin America and Mexico and the United States.
