Journey Aviation open new Asia offices

Journey Aviation’s new Asia offices based in Jakarta, Indonesia and Singapore, part of its expansion into the continent, are now open. CEO Fabian Bello said: “We are so grateful and humbled about our company’s continued growth year over year despite the worldwide setbacks and challenges. This most recent venture into Asia with new offices in Jakarta and Singapore is beyond exciting.”

Bello explained it may not be customary for American-based operators to have a presence in different continents; however, Journey’s team is comprised of over 130 team members from all over the world. Team members speak over eight languages, which allows the firm to identify as a local player wherever it operates.

Spearheading the expansion is Journey Aviation, president of Asia, Yan Lukito and vice president Han Moeljadi. Lukito is an executive and pilot with 35 plus years in aviation industry, specialising in the heavy jet charter business. He has spent his career in managing worldwide heavy jet charter operations with 20 plus aircraft, primarily Gulfstream models, along with running his own financial business for 35 years. Lukito is leading the new division and is responsible the oversight of the international operations.

“Our commitment is to create a local organisation with a global footprint that will provide value and guidance to Indonesia’s most discerning clientele, while providing first-in-class private aviation services that were formally known to only be available to billionaires,” said Lukito.

Moeljadi is a US-based business consultant with 35 years of experience in various business enterprises. An architect by training, Moeljadi has been based in Southern California for the past 45 years.

Moeljadi said: “This is one of the most exciting moments in my professional career. The launch of Journey’s Asian branch is the culmination of the vision and hard work of so many people. I am excited to be a part of this first-class organisation and grow with this talented group of people.”
