MRO Insider launches independent group for AOG firms

MRO Insider has created a syndicate for independent AOG companies and technicians around the US. As well as the sharing of resources, the group is aiming to shore up AOG “dead zones” by using MRO Insider’s data.

Andy Nixon, president, MRO Insider, said: “As a collective, this group of independent AOG providers will help push the industry forward by sharing procedures, and overall best practices to foster growth.”

Due to the fact many technicians are looking to branch out on their own or work with smaller organisations, Nixon said the group will have the “upper hand” when it comes to providing resources and non-contract AOG service, focusing on more retail opportunities, including Part 91 flight departments.

Nixon added: “Large MROs have always carried an advantage, but together this network will match the size while being nimbler for customer demands.”

Participating companies will remain anonymous for the time being. For more information, contact Andy Nixon at andy@mroinsider.com.
