LA-based private charter and management firm, Planet 9, has added two Bombardier Global Express aircraft to its now 31-strong fleet.

The Global Express N954JJ is a 2001 jet which can hold 14 passengers, with a range of 5,830nm and a maximum speed of 590mph, while the 2001 N121SA (pictured) can fly 12 passengers with the same range and speed. Both aircraft have a range of 12 hours travel.

“The explosive demand of the industry, coupled with Planet 9’s focus on a world-class guest experience, has led us to year-over-year growth for both number of flights and aircraft,” said Matt Walter, co-founder, Planet 9. “The addition of these two aircraft, and one more on the way, will air in our ability to meet our guests’ needs and continue to provide global service.”

The aircraft on the way is a Gulfstream IV, which is expected to be delivered to Planet 9 next month.

Planet 9 is due to celebrate its fifth anniversary next month and has a fleet consisting of Gulfstream, Bombardier and Dassault jets.
