Vertis Aviation Aircraft Trading launches in Dubai

New aircraft brokerage Vertis Aviation Aircraft Trading has been launched by three business aviation executives: Mark Abbott, Jeffrey Emmenis and Conan McGale (pictured from left to right).

The trio of partners said the decision to launch the Dubai-based business was driven by an increase in requests for aircraft transaction support from charter customers of sister business Vertis Aviation.

With more than  two decades of experience in business aviation, Abbott takes the helm as CEO of the new venture. Together, the partners bring more than 60 years of experience to the new brokerage.

Our industry familiarity means we are distinctive in our ability to share our knowledge and provide dependable, data-driven advice to existing and new buyers and sellers from pre- to post-transaction,” said Abbott.

Emmenis, CEO and co-founder, Vertis Aviation, will operate as director of Vertis Aircraft Trading. Through the relationship with Vertis Aviation, the new brokerage aims to support customers looking to upgrade from charter to ownership, or help divestment as owners downgrade.

Abbott said: “In addition to supporting trading, we can help connect customers with reputable legal, financial, and fiscal professionals and advise on aircraft management, refurbishment, or maintenance options.”

McGale, formerly head of the Research Department at The Jet Business, will also operate as a director of the firm alongside Emmenis.

The partners said they have located in key regions to better support their clients. Abbott is predominantly based between the Bahamas and Dubai, McGale is based in the UK and Emmenis between Switzerland and Dubai.

“We want to build trusted lifetime relationships to help our clients optimise their business aviation usage from start to finish,” said Abbott.
