HeliSpeed, a renowned provider of helicopter training solutions, and NHV Group, a leading helicopter services provider, are pleased to announce their partnership to deliver comprehensive helicopter maintenance training.

Leveraging HeliSpeed and NHV’s PART-147 approval covering both European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (U.K. CAA) standards, this collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility and quality of helicopter maintenance education.

The partnership will offer trainees an expanded scope with B1.3, B2, and B2 differences on the Leonardo AW139 helicopter variant.

Helispeed and NHV Group are passionate about offering accessible and bespoke solutions when it comes to learning; therefore, the collaboration provides flexible learning methods, including the option for distance learning based on customer requests.

Alongside the flexible training, helicopter airframes will be utilised during practical courses at NHV’s bases in Norwich and Blackpool.

“We are thrilled to partner with NHV to deliver cutting-edge helicopter maintenance training,” said Brian Hopkinson, Part 147 training manager at HeliSpeed. “This collaboration allows us to combine our expertise and resources to offer comprehensive, high-quality training.”

Frédéric Matton, NHV Academy Training manager, added: “The high-level expertise of HeliSpeed will enhance our AW139 type course capabilities. It’s an important step to offer both EASA and U.K. CAA customers with flexible solutions for this key helicopter type”.
