NetJets, the US-based fractional operator, has taken delivery of its 100th Cessna Citation Latitude.
The 100th aircraft, MSN 680-0201 / N665QS, arrived in NetJets Columbus, Ohio home base on June 27, 2019 and means that NetJets has now taken delivery of half of the Citation Latitudes built.
In 2012 NetJets placed the largest order in business aviation history, when it signed a deal with Bombardier and Textron for the delivery of up to 425 business jets. That deal included 25 firm orders for the Citation Latitude, with options for a further 125 aircraft.
The first delivery for the order took place in July 2016, with NetJets using the occasion to add a further 50 Latitude options to its original order.

According to NetJets, the Latitude is the most-requested aircraft type in its diverse fleet, and had flown 150,446 passengers up to mid-June 2019.
The Citation Latitude was the first aircraft type in the NetJets ‘Signature series’ fleet. The Signature series’ interiors were designed from the ground up by NetJets own internal design department, and includes Gogo’s inflight entertainment systems.
Although the majority of Latitude aircraft are operated in the core US market, NetJets Europe has so far taken delivery of 14 Citation Latitudes.
Textron is closing in on the delivery of the 200th Citation Latitude. So far, the Wichita Kansas based airframer has delivered 198 Citation Latitudes.
Although NetJets is the largest customer, smaller multi-aircraft Latitude fleets are operated by Aerolineas Ejecutivas in Mexico, ConAgra Brands in the US and the Norwegian Air Ambulance.
Textron Aviation displayed the first Norwegian Air Ambulance Citation Latitude during the 2019 edition of the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE).
Future deliveries include two aircraft ordered by the Japan Air Self Defence Force (JASDF). Both aircraft are currently in Oslo wearing local LN- registrations with Norwegian Special Mission, which is currently installing the equipment required for the aircraft to carry out automatic flight inspection missions.
