Canada-based eVTOL company, MOSTAVIO, has been awarded the 2025 MUSE Design Gold Award in the category of ‘Transportation Design – Flying Cars/ Personal Aerial Vehicles (PAVs)’ for its flagship, the MX1, reports a press release. Last year Pivotal and its personal flying Helix vehicle won a similar MUSE award.
The release states, “MX1 was designed to simplify flying for everyday users. It blends advanced autonomous flight systems, immersive VR control and bold design language into a single-passenger experience that reimagines personal air travel.”
It continues, “MX1 reimagines the flying experience—offering more than just a novel way to travel, but a chance to fully immerse yourself in the journey. For instead of wrestling with controls, the occupant provides high-level commands via a VR interface, letting onboard autonomous systems handle the technical demands of flight. The MUSE win highlights our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and accessible aviation.”

The eVTOL with its all-electric propulsion is created from high-strength, lightweight composite materials. “The cohesive body panel design melds arms and landing gear into a single, sculpted form, reducing mechanical complexity and enhancing aerodynamics,” says the release. “The VR-driven autonomous interior make each journey unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression of what personal air travel can and should feel like.”
Meanwhile, the MUSE Awards which cover creativity, design, hotel and photography is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. The 2025 theme is ‘Celebrating Milestones’. This recognises the collective achievements of participants who have redefined creativity and transformed the industry.
