EAST WEST HELICOPTER INC.’s primary business is the acquisition, sales and maintenance of helicopters worldwide.
We are a deep maintenance FAA 145 Certified Repair Station #MMZR498G and MD Service Center. We are rated for Airbus AS350, H125, EC120, EC130; Bell 206, 212, 412 and MD500 helicopter series with their respective engines.

Reseller/Acquistion:

With extensive experience in acquiring inventory globally for our own use and reserves, we offer owners a streamlined sales transaction. We have expertise in valuation, logistics, title transfers and shipping. Our primary interest is in viable light turbine helicopters, which could be from new to in needing repairs and or refurbishment.

Upon completion of all due diligence, after the aircraft is accepted and the funds/title are transferred, the owner is released of all future responsibilities with regard to that transaction.

We pride ourselves in completing thorough maintenance in a timely manner while controlling costs and providing a safe and reliable product. Our clientele is varied and widespread including operators, private individuals and government contracts held for more than twenty years.

East West Helicopter has the experience and expertise to assist our clientele in virtually all aspects of their operational and support requirements including worldwide shipping, incident repairs, major installations and modifications.

Established in 1976 by Barry Pruss, East West Helicopter became a forerunner in the acquisition and sales of turbine helicopters. Strong core values, including honesty, integrity and diligence coupled with extensive knowledge and expertise allowed for handshake deals and built a highly respected company with an extensive international presence.
New ownership and management in 2001 mirrored the core values and expertise which the company was founded on. A new direction brought forth extensive changes, including updated technology to better support all aspects of the helicopter industry, including the opportunity to diversify with a network of associates that provide leasing, heavy maintenance and major modifications. This enables East West to provide a seamless turnkey transaction for our clientele.

Since 2001, Mr. Patric Wells, President and CEO, has been privileged to have travelled to all corners of the world conducting business which has resulted in many repeat customers and gaining long –term relationships. Mr. Wells’ wide range of expertise in aviation has placed him in the unique position of often being mistaken as a chief pilot, director of maintenance or as a general line mechanic. His roots in aviation began early due to his Mothers career as a stewardess employed on trans-continental routes. He started flying at the age of seventeen and achieved his 100 hour rotor wing status at eighteen. In the continuation of what would be a lifelong passion he earned his aircraft maintenance license then went onto extensive field experience as a bush pilot/engineer in remote Northern Canadian operations. This combined experience provided the foundation to an executive position at a major helicopter manufacturer, culminating in the idea to create a new innovative company for the helicopter industry. Consequently, in 1996 Panterra Heli Support Ltd. was founded, and the acquisition of East West Helicopter was a logical continuation of Mr. Wells’ vision of a globally integrated infrastructure
