Crashkit International Corporation, an aviation survival gear manufacturing company has announced the release of four new products. Dubbed the ‘Lite’ series, this new line of kits features the same certifications and regulatory compliance as their larger counterparts, however, the new kits are significantly smaller and up to 30 percent lighter. With dedicated kits for two, four, six and ten people, the Crashkit ‘Lite’ series features the same design and content that has been proven over the last 16 years.

About the new kits, Crashkit CEO Curtis Peters said, “With our Flagship line of Survival Gear designed for remote and wilderness use, we have been customizing rotary and urban operators with smaller, lighter kits for years. And while removing a few non-essential ‘luxury’ items such as food, water, tea and hot chocolate reduces space and weight, the compliance standards have remained the same”.

Designed to exceed all Transport Canada recommendations for both First Aid and Survival, the two and four person kits are both Aviation “Type A, 1-6” rated, while the six and ten person kits have been given the Aviation “Type B, 6+” designation. Additional First Aid Supplies over and above regulation have also been included in all kits.

Survival provisions in all kits include signal, water purification and shelter along with multiple fire-starting methods. Packed in original Pelican brand cases, hundreds of other proven, reliable items are also included in each kit; knife, compass, lights, saws, firecord, fishing kits and whistles, just to name a few. With the experience necessary to customize for any aviation survival application, Crashkit has spared no expense in the design, development, and production of their new line of kits.
