eVTOL Insights’ first ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event before Dubai Airshow kicks off exciting week for Advanced Air Mobility market

More than 60 industry executives and some of the top editors and journalists covering the aviation market attended eVTOL Insights’ inaugural ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event before the Dubai Airshow yesterday (Sunday).

The exclusive networking event acted as a curtain raiser to the 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow, which has been described as the biggest one to-date and will feature more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 different countries.

eVTOL OEMs such as Lilium, Ascendance Flight Technologies, Aerovecto, Crisalion Mobility and ZURI joined Rolls-Royce Electrical, FreeFlight Systems, Canadian Advanced Air Mobility Consortium (CAAM), Saudi Technic, Honeywell, Cross Channel and Air Canada for an afternoon of networking in the wonderful setting of the W Dubai — The Palm.

They were then joined by reporters from the likes of Bloomberg, AIN, FlightGlobal, Aviation Week, AeroTime, Avways, Avbuyer and The Royal Aeronautical Society for the later part of the event, where they could continue networking before the busy airshow schedule started the next day.

Jason Pritchard, Executive Editor at eVTOL Insights, said: “Our first Behind Closed Doors event could not have gone any better.

“We created these events so companies could network in a private setting away from the hectic airshow schedule and initial feedback so far has been very good. We’re looking forward to hosting similar events at next year’s airshows in Singapore and Farnborough and would love hear from any company interested in being involved.”

eVTOL Insights will host a ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event in Singapore on Monday, February 19th, with a similar event in Farnborough happening on Sunday, July 21st.
