Lilium has opened private sales of its eVTOL in the US market, in partnership with broker and management firm, EMC JET.

EMC JET will be Lilium’s exclusive private sales dealer in Texas until 2030 and it has made an initial commitment for five production slots. Lilium said the move follows the German developer’s commercial strategy to begin in the premium sector before moving to the airline and passenger shuttle market.

The Lilium Jet will be available countrywide, with the initial focus on cities in Texas, including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. The agreement makes EMC JET Lilium’s fourth dealer.

The Pioneer Edition is the first version of the Lilium Jet being sold to private individuals across the globe, according to makers.
