North Texas maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider AeroBrigham said it will soon complete Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) certification to be awarded by the Brazil aviation authority.

Upon award, the company will have return to service authorization for aircraft registered in Brazil. AeroBrigham anticipates greater opportunities for aircraft completions, overall maintenance, repair and other comprehensive services currently offered for both fixed and rotor-wing airframes.

The authorization process by ANAC required an in-depth review and inspection of AeroBrigham processes as well as a comprehensive inspection of the company’s capabilities resulting in the certification award.

AeroBrigham will be exclusively represented in Brazil by Sierra Aeronautica with offices based in Sao Paulo, and will provide commercial and technical assistance for AeroBrigham Brazilian customers for corporate, law enforcement, parapublic, search-and-rescue, fire suppression, offshore, and air medical mission profiles.

AeroBrigham will again be exhibiting during the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo this year in Anaheim, California from Feb. 27-29, and will showcase a recently refurbished Bell 412.

The airframe was imported from the Jamaica Defence Force following a fleet replacement with Bell 429 airframes that AeroBrigham completed for the country. AeroBrigham will be exhibiting on booth #822.
