Airwolf Aerospace’s medium Bell UH-1 TT straps have received USA Defense Logistics Agency source approval under NSN: 3040-01-299-8100
Airwolf has sold thousands of TT straps for Bell UH-1, 204, 205, 210 and 212 helicopters under its Federal Aviation Administration supplemental type certificate (STC) and STC validations by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, Transport Canada, and Brazil’s ANAC.
They are now pleased to announce that their medium Bell TT Straps, also known as a Rigid Link, have been approved by the DLA as a source of supply for NSN: 3040-01- 299-8100 for UH-1 helicopters.
Airwolf’s cage code (6S0N4) has been added to the approved manufacturers parts listing (AMPL), which allows Airwolf to participate in USA DLA Solicitations and solicitations for direct foreign military sales on an equal footing with the OEM components.
These TT Straps (Rigid Links) were sole sourced parts until Airwolf received DLA source approval. Competition will result in lower pricing which will benefit the DLA and the U.S. taxpayer.
Airwolf has more TT Straps and Elastomeric components in the pipeline which will be receiving DLA, FAA and other civil aviation authority approvals.
