Airwork (NZ) has been approved by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the original equipment manufacturer of the EC145 main transmission, to carry out repair and overhaul work.
This new approval represents a significant milestone and it complements Airwork’s already comprehensive list of capabilities for the BK117 Series, now including:
- Main transmission (up to EC145)
- Swashplate (up to EC145)
- Main Rotor Head (up to EC145)
- Tail Rotor Head
Covering the key regulatory approvals (EASA, FAA, NZCAA etc.), Airwork can provide a range of overhaul and repair services options, including exchanges and rentals. For Airwork’s highly trained and experienced team, quality is of the utmost importance and each main transmission will undergo a final test upon completion of the repair or overhaul.
