Alpine Aerotech has recently completed a refurbishment and multi-role re-configuration project of a second Bell 412EP helicopter, on behalf of the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

The 412EP 36407 looks sharp in the NSW RFS livery and will fit in well with the rest of the fleet. This aircraft has undergone a complete paint strip and re-paint, while at the same time, the aircraft was equipped to meet the needs of the NSW RFS’ Multi-Role operations, including wildfire suppression with both bucket and belly tank capabilities.  The addition of an external hoist, steerable searchlight, FLIR Safire camera and NVG compliant cockpit lighting system, allow the RFS to carry out rescue missions during both day and night-time operations.

AAL is proud to have provided a number of our own STC products in order to equip this aircraft for its operational roles.  For example, the AAL Skid Tube Rub Strips for winching operations, The AAL Garmin GTX-345R ADS-B Transponder system (NVG compatible), the AAL Cargo Mirror & Pulse-light kit, the AAL Bearpaws and both our Baggage Compartment and Cabin Floor Protection Kits.

The entire team here at Alpine Aerotech would like to extend a big thank you to the NSW RFS for continuing to show their trust in our product and abilities by allowing us to provide ongoing support to the growth of their Heli-Tanker fleet.

This press release was prepared and distributed by Alpine Aerotech.
