AvidAir International first introduced its carbon fiber (CF) composite lining for the compressor case of the Rolls-Royce Model 250 Series I and Series II turbine engines ten years ago. It has since successfully delivered over 2,500 of these patented* cases to the industry.
While plastic lining may only last 300 to 600 hours before cracking, AvidAir continues to document 3,500-hour inservice time of its carbon fiber customer units, reducing both operating costs and aircraft downtime.
AvidAir customer support representatives will have #FULLTBO samples on display and be available to meet with current and prospective customers at this week’s Airborne Public Safety Association Convention in New Orleans (Booth #636). Information regarding warranty terms, conditions and patent information is also available on the company’s website or from Craig Rookstool, AvidAir’s director of sales, at 816-246-4527 or craig@avidair.com.
