Boost Systems receives FAA STC for Airbus H125 quick release cargo basket

Boost Systems continues to expand its mission equipment offering and is pleased to announce its Airbus H125/AS350 Quick Release Cargo Basket and Boarding Step are now approved by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Boost Systems has been awarded FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) SR00184IB for its Airbus H125/AS350/355 Quick Release Cargo Basket and Boarding Step, previously approved by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA).

“With a cargo capacity of 500 pounds per side, the Boost Basket offers the largest cargo capacity of all H125/AS350/AS355 baskets available on the market today,” said Jeff Yarnold, VP of Operations.

The basket can be installed on either side of the aircraft and the quick release installation mechanism allows for installation and removal of the basket without tools.

The basket itself is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel with powder coating in white, black and custom colours. Boost Systems also offers an optional Boarding Step to facilitate boarding and egress of the aircraft.
