Charles “Chuck” Gibran has joined Bristow Group Inc.as director, business development for the Middle East. He will also serve as managing director for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In these roles, Gibran will help Bristow establish its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East as the company begins to identify business opportunities and build key customer and other stakeholder relationships in the region.

“The Middle East is a key diversification and growth market for Bristow with opportunities to grow our business in traditional vertical lift transportation, Advanced Air Mobility, and various government services,” Gibran said. “I look forward to sharing our world-leading solutions with stakeholders throughout the Middle East. We can provide the safest, most efficient vertical lift solutions in the region.”

Gibran joins Bristow from PHI International where he was most recently general manager of PHI Arabia LLC and director of PHI Middle East operations with responsibility for maintaining a commercial presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including new aircraft sales and logistics, sales campaigns and proposals, and maintaining key commercial relationships in the region.

Prior to that, he was program director for Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s MEDEVAC Helicopter Program. Gibran also spent more than 25 years at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation as manager of Global Sales and Marketing Support Services and special security advisor for the Chairman and CEO.

Gibran has a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
