Cicare USA has signed a cooperative development agreements with Fast Cow Productions and Pro Flight Trainer LLC to develop Microsoft Flight Simulator 3D models and specific flight controls of the Cicarè 8 helicopter and Cicarè SVH-4 helicopter trainer.

The 3D models and realistic flight controls will provide a personalized immersive experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and later versions when coupled with virtual reality headsets (VR) like the Oculus Quest and HP Reverb.

Cicare USA is also working with vSkylabs on their Cicare 8 model for the X-Plane 12 Simulator. This parallel effort will provide test and verification of realistic performance of a Cicare 8 in a simulator while using VR headsets and lays groundwork for applying for an FAA approval as a flight training device (FTD).

These specific flight simulator aircraft models and flight controls will be available on Cicarè USA’s pilot shop as well as other online stores.

“Creating a real-world immersive flight experience with flight tutorials can expose aviation to a significantly larger market and pave the path for future pilots.” said Cicaré USA CEO Keith Barr.

“We’re fueling the growth of sport aviation with greater access and lower thresholds to ownership of light personal aircraft, such as the Cicare 8 and Cicare 7 series of helicopters.”

MSFS and X-Plane market continue to expand realistic experiences in all segments of aviation.

“Creating a personalized Cicare 8 to use in your Microsoft Flight Simulator at home brings another dimension to sport aviation enthusiasts,” shared Justin Romaine, principal developer at Fast Cow Productions.

“X-Plane Flight Simulator has been certified as a FAA Approved FTD for several different helicopter models. The work I’m doing on the Cicare 8 combined with the Pro Flight Trainer controls lays the groundwork for a future FAA FTD” said Huss at vSkylabs.

Cicarè proven designs are certified and sold as Ultralight helicopters in France (Class 6) and Germany (LTF-ULH), where Cicarè currently provides factory-built helicopters.

“Cicarè SA is very excited to be providing helicopters to the largest aviation market in the world through Cicaré USA.” shared Juan Cicarè, president of Cicarè S.A.

Cicarè USA (www.cicare-usa.com) provides sales, support & services to Cicarè helicopter owners and buyers in North and Central America through its operations in Reno, Nevada.

Models include the Cicare 8 and Cicare 7T two place helicopters, the Cicare 7 single place and the SVH-4 helicopter trainer. The SVH-4 trainer is a FAA approved training device with 10 hours of the FAA rotorcraft pilot requirement being able to be in the SVH-4.

Support services include a builder-assist program as well as builder support, rotorcraft maintenance and service bulletins. The company has also developed training partners to assist owners and buyers in achieving FAA rotorcraft ratings and maintaining rotorcraft currency.

Cicarè technology has contributed over 1,500 rotorcraft delivered to over 75 countries and their designs have accumulated over 300,000 flying hours.
