Gulf Helicopters Company’s (GHC) joint venture in Turkey since 2014, Redstar Aviation (RSA), has been announced the “Air Ambulance Company of the Year” by the International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ).
The ITIJ Awards celebrate the extraordinary efforts of companies from across all sectors of the travel and health insurance industry and are designed to recognize and reward companies that are demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity, innovation during challenging times, and leadership through best practice.
The prestigious awards were revealed on a ceremony held in Athens on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the finale of the 30th annual global conference of the International Travel & Health Insurance Conferences (ITIC). Following Redstar’s first time submission and nomination as a finalist amongst two fellow nominees, the judges awarded Redstar Aviation as the Air Ambulance Company of the Year. Upon announcing Redstar Aviation as the winner, the judges stated the following: “This company has shown its ability to emerge from the pandemic with more capabilities and invested in its fleet and staff to ensure high quality services can be provided to insurance and assistance companies worldwide.”
