Global AirParts announces arrival of Airbus AS365N3s for part out

Global AirParts, a leading provider of used, serviceable materials for Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, has announced a shipment of three Airbus AS365N3 Dauphin helicopters for part out will arrive this month.

The Dauphin began development in the 1970s and Airbus produced more than 1,000 units for civilian and military use that have flown more than 5.5 million flight hours. Dozens of operators continue to own and operate hundreds of copies of the N3.

“With the collapse in demand for helicopters worldwide, many oil-and-gas helicopters have been forced into retirement and will never fly again. Often, the maintenance costs of refurbishment exceed the value of a working asset. We extract value from these airframes by harvesting usable components and offering them for sale, exchange or rental to other operators,” said Mike Pirang, founder and CEO of Global AirParts.

For more than a decade, Global AirParts has provided used, serviceable materials to support the S-76 and other aircraft types.

“Dauphin parts are valuable to operators worldwide, and Global AirParts can help bring lower operating costs to the market by disassembling these aircraft using our proprietary systems and processes,” noted Trish Meader, vice president of sales.

Global Air Parts continues to expand its service offerings and and recently added the Leonardo AW139 to its product mix.
