Greenbird partners with Griffith University


Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry collaboration platform, Greenbird, is pleased to announce the addition of Griffith University as a founding ecosystem partner.

Led by trusted airport and aviation industry advisors, AVISTRA, Greenbird is dedicated to facilitating the entry of the AAM industry into Australia. Bringing together international expertise and knowledge, and local supply chain partners, Greenbird will assist industry, research institutions and government to work together to drive investment attraction, industry operationalization and local capability.

Griffith University joins the platform alongside recently announced industry experts – Skyports, Nautilus Aviation, Aviator Group and Aviation Projects.

Griffith University Aviation Head Professor Tim Ryley welcomes the collaboration on AAM.

Building an ecosystem wide, industry led collaboration, Greenbird aims to facilitate an attractive landscape for investment in Queensland’s AAM ecosystem and assist with the creation of certainty around government regulation, policy, and investment attraction settings.

Griffith University aligns closely with Greenbird’s priorities, with its commitment to climate action and in turn, an interest in the decarbonization of flight, as well as in the articulation of a future in which AAM plays a significant role.
