HAI seeks members for new Small Business Initiatives Industry Advisory Council

Helicopter Association International (HAI) is seeking members to form its new Small Business Initiatives Industry Advisory Council. As part of an overarching strategic effort to provide enhanced benefits and services to its small to medium-sized members, HAI is chartering this advisory council to provide insights and recommendations to inform future HAI member service programs. The council will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of HAI’s strategic direction to support business programs advantageous to HAI members.

On a daily basis, HAI’s small to medium-sized members face unique business challenges within our industry. As such, the focus of this advisory council will be to identify significant issues and provide recommendations that will help HAI build programs to support and sustain these business members.

The council will be composed of up to 20 members representing small to medium-sized businesses, and will include a diverse mix of HAI members representing a variety of activities.

Ideally, council members will be HAI members who demonstrate a strong commitment to the industry and are knowledgeable about small-business issues and challenges. Council members must also possess an ability and willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to attend meetings and contribute to the work of the council.

The advisory council will meet on an as-needed basis, but with an initial objective of meeting monthly through the end of 2023. The first meeting is tentatively scheduled to take place in July 2023.

If you are interested in being selected for the HAI Small Business Initiatives Industry Advisory Council, please submit your letter of interest and resume no later than May 19, 2023, to Chris Martino, HAI senior director of operations, at chris.martino@rotor.org.
