Jetex has begun offering sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to its customers at Jetex Le Bourget, Paris. The SAF, which has been available since June, is produced by TotalEnergies in France, and made from used cooking oil.
Fueling at Jetex Le Bourget is facilitated by a 100% electric refuelling truck which further reduces carbon footprint of the operation.

Progressing the development and commercial deployment of SAF is crucial to decarbonising the aviation industry, say Jetex. According to IATA, more than 100m litres of SAF will be produced in 2021. The use of SAF is a major focus for Jetex and forms part of the company’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
