Aerial Assets, LLC, a partially-owned subsidiary of McMahon Helicopter Services, has broken ground today on a new 19,000-square foot hangar and office facility located in Canton, Michigan, adjacent to Canton-Plymouth-Mettetal Airport. Approximately, 15,000 square feet will be used for aircraft storage and the remaining 4,000 square feet for office space.

McMahon will become the primary tenant when the facility opens in early 2022. Remaining space will be leased to other aviation related entities by Aerial Assets, LLC.

The new facility will nearly double McMahon’s existing hangar capacity and improve storage access for multi-bladed helicopters, ground vehicles, cargo handling equipment and future aviation vehicles. With McMahon’s existing aircraft fleet, time-critical cargo and passengers can be transported from the Aerial Assets private ramp directly to their destination up to 350 miles away, non-stop, and beyond 350 miles with a fuel stop.
