MetroJet has completed its first 2C inspection on a Gulfstream G650, finding no defects.
The inspection took place over one week at MetroJet’s Hong Kong Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station. The Hong Kong MRO is a Gulfstream authorised service centre with capabilities to maintain the Gulfstream series up to an 8C inspection.
Dave Yip, MD MetroJet MRO said: “Bolstered by our strong reputation in aviation safety and delivering a quality level of service to agreed schedules, we are seeing more new customers place their trust, confidence and aircraft with us.”
The services at MetroJet’s Hong Kong MRO include all-inclusive aircraft management, charter, maintenance and consultancy in the Asia Pacific region.
Yip praised the the team at MetroJet Hong Kong for their success despite challenges from Covid-19: “In some truly interesting and dynamic times, our team has been able to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations.”
The Hong Kong MRO is the headquarters for MetroJet, and is one of two MROs – the second is located at the Clark International Airport in the Philippines. MetroJet Engineering Clark welcomed its 5th aircraft to its facility in August this year, half of its full capacity.
