PHI Health receives accolade honoring sustainability achievements


PHI Health was recognized at the 2023 St. Louis Green Business Challenge for the efforts of its Chesterfield, Missouri base.

This achievement reinforces the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability in its practices.

Several specific accomplishments and innovations made by the PHI Chesterfield base were identified as vital to receiving the Green Business honor. Key accomplishments include:

• The formation of a company-wide Green Team.

• Issuance of Green Purchasing Policy for office paper.

• Maintenance of Environmental Policy with sustainability impacts. All new hires are required to read and sign these policies before beginning their employment at PHI.

Key innovations include:

• Installation of recycling bins with posters encouraging employees to recycle in the correct manner.

• Office paper converted to 30 percent recycled content.

• Achieved ISO 14001 Certification, companywide.
