Robinson Helicopters has appointed New Zealand firm Mt Hutt Aviation as an authorised service centre for the manufacturer in the country.  The South Island-based aircraft maintenance, refurbishment, and sales specialist will offer parts support and overhaul services for Robinson’s rotorcraft in the country.

Mark Kershaw, CEO, Mt Hutt Aviation said the designation will enable the firm to expand its support to the helicopter industry in New Zealand. “We are dedicated to delivering high-quality services and parts support, contributing to the growth and efficiency of helicopter operations in the region,” he said.

The NZ firm added in a statement: “Mt Hutt Aviation’s Authorised Service Centre status for Robinson Helicopter signifies a recognition of their expertise, technical proficiency, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards in helicopter maintenance and service.” Mt Hutt Aviaton expects to start overhaul services in the first quarter of first quarter of 2024. The company operates bases at Ashburton and Rangiora, South Island.

Meanwhile, last month Robinson Helicopter Company appointed Robyn Eagles to the role head of global marketing and communications. Backed by more than 25 years of experience in the advanced mobility sector, Eagles will oversee brand strategy, marketing, public relations, global dealer relations, and sales for the helicopter manufacturer.
