RotorTech UK has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of the event which was scheduled for June 16-18 at the Cotswold Airport:
I am sorry to have to confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel RotorTech UK for this year.
The indoor exhibition (hangar) space we were allocated is now not available due to issues outside of our control. As a result we are not willing to run an event which fails to meet the needs of our exhibitors and visitors.
This is very disappointing. Our Team has put in a great deal of time and effort in establishing the groundwork for the Show to accommodate both the fly-in pilots and visitors required for a successful general aviation event the industry deserves.
We have support from all the main GA Associations and there has been much pre-event interest from fly-in pilots and visitors, but without suitable indoor exhibition facilities we cannot run our event successfully.
We are looking forward to bringing the general aviation community together in 2023, and further news will be available soon.
Refunds for landing-fees and tickets are being made this week.
