Skyservice Business Aviation has opened its new FBO at Napa County Airport, California, with the construction of a new 60,000sqft facility to begin later this year.

With the Skyservice Napa FBO currently operating out of a temporary building at the airport, the operator is now focusing its efforts on the build of its new corporate jet facility.

The complex will include a luxury FBO site, office space and a 40,000sqft hangar, capable of handling Bombardier and Gulfstream models, as well as Citation and Challenger aircraft. The firm said this was in response to the growing demand for business aviation options in the region.

Benjamin Murray, president and CEO, Skyservice said the company was eager to continue growing its FBO offering in California. “As a full-service business aviation company for over 36 years, we understand the evolving needs of private jet aviation clients. Our unwavering commitment and focus are to deliver unmatched safety and service excellence while delivering full aircraft ownership support,” he said.

The current site includes separate lounge accommodations for guests and crew, concierge services and flight planning and snooze rooms for pilots. It also offers ground handling services, hangar and ramp accommodations and Jet A fuel.

Construction is expected to begin in Autumn, 2023.
