Technimount EMS named finalist for 2022 EMS World Innovation Awards

Technimount EMS, an affiliated company of Technimount System and a leading provider of mounting solutions for medical devices, is proud to announce that it has been nominated top finalist for the 2022 EMS World Innovation Awards.

Nominated for six consecutive years, Technimount continues to demonstrate its commitment to the healthcare community by listening to the evolving needs of emergency medical services and critical care professionals and by providing them with the safest and most innovative medical device mounting systems on the market.

The Xtension Pro Assistant is an unparalleled solution that allows to safely carry multiple devices on the LifePort Cot during Air Critical Care Transport (CCT). This mounting solution reduces medical equipment installation time by incorporating innovative features highly appreciated by CCT teams, such as a two-sided open structure that facilitates a lateral patient transfer from bed/stretcher to cot while the medical equipment remains installed. With the use of a Red Quick Release Mechanism, the Xtension ProTM Assistant – LP can be easily removed from the cot, allowing the Critical Care team to be more efficient in managing equipment and concentrating on what matters most, patient care. It integrates Technimount’s universal mounting system widely used among Emergency Medical Services in North America, ensuring a seamless transition from air to ground emergency transport up to hospital environments.

With safety at the forefront of development, the XTPA-LP is thoroughly tested with the highest standards for Air Transport, FAA, 14 CFR § 23. This solution has been successfully certified on Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, and clearance for several deployments in North America is in process.

“It’s an honor for Technimount to be once again nominated as a finalist for the EMS Innovation Awards this year,” said Carl Bouchard, Founder, and CEO of Technimount System. “Being selected for such an award motivates us to continue fostering our innovative spirit and adapt our solutions to the evolving needs of healthcare and EMS communities.”

This press release was prepared and distributed by Technimount EMS.
