Ticket sales open for European Rotors 2022

European Rotors – the VTOL Show and Safety Conference – is looking ahead to its second iteration, which will be held from Nov. 8 to 10 in Cologne, Germany.

As the European Rotors conference and exhibition is now less than three months away, ticket sales are now live, and the show’s digital platform re-launched.

Early booking will be rewarded with a lower price point. Tickets are priced at €75 per day, or €150 for all three days. After Sept. 30, these will rise to €90 per day or €180 for all three days. Students and Media may attend at no charge, and the event will be “Open Doors” for anyone to attend free on the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 10, subject to registration being completed.

There is also concessionary pricing for pilots, maintenance engineers, and EHA members. Delegates signing up for paid training courses get a three-day pass included in the fee.

All attendees must register and wear their pass on site at all times, including those on concessionary rates.

The show will cover all aspects of the rotorcraft industry, its myriad stakeholders, and new technologies, innovations, and methodologies; extending across VTOL mission types, HEMS and SAR, police and public safety, aerial firefighting and disaster relief, passenger transport, and smart urban air mobility.

European Rotors will be attended by market leaders including Leonardo Helicopters, Bell, Airbus Helicopters, Robinson, Safran Helicopter Engines, Trakka Systems, Air Covers, Bucher Leichtbau, Shotover Systems, Meeker Aviation, Airtelis, AUK Protection and Concorde Battery Corp, among others.

The organizers have also scheduled a Training Day focusing on the promotion of safer helicopter operations, and a Career Day looking for the next generation of pilots and engineers.

The show’s digital platform proved a success in its first year and is being expanded further for 2022. Launched by event partners European Helicopter Association (EHA), Helicopter Association International (HAI) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), European Rotors 365 includes exhibitor product and services information, and is live throughout the year, providing a news and information hub for the international rotorcraft and VTOL community.

David Solar, head of General Aviation and VTOL at EASA, said: “This event represents a new communication mean for the rotorcraft community by the rotorcraft community. This year, it is blending a physical and digital event. We are looking forward to meeting all stakeholders to share our industry future and challenges and address key safety issues. Meeting together is our key to success.”

Christian Mueller, EHA Chairman, added: “The development of new technologies and new safety standards in VTOL operations are fostered by EHA and its members in close collaboration with all stakeholders. We look forward to bringing these important concerns to a wider audience through European Rotors and its digital platform European Rotors 365.”
