UAFA members elect Aerial Fire’s Ryan Mason as new affiliate board member


The United Aerial Firefighters Association announced on February 22nd, 2024, through a press release sent to UAFA members, that voting members had elected Ryan Mason to fill the open affiliate board member position.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the recent election to fill the Affiliate seat on the UAFA Board of Directors. Per UAFA bylaws, the required quorum of votes was met and UAFA staff validated the results multiple times to ensure the integrity of the election.

I also want to thank the entire slate of nominees for offering their time and energy to UAFA. We look forward to the addition of Ryan to the Board and hope everyone will have an opportunity to meet him at upcoming in-person events this year,” said UAFA Executive Director Paul Petersen.

“I am thrilled to be elected to the UAFA board, as it is an organization I have supported from its inception. I hope my time on the board will lead to many successful outcomes for UAFA and its ever-growing member base,” said Ryan.

Ryan Mason is a writer, photographer and editor that now serves as the Editor in Chief of AerialFire Magazine since its inception as a stand alone publication in 2019 after a career in law enforcement.
