UAG completes acquisition of ACS Group


Brightwater United Aero Group (UAG) has completed the acquisition of Advanced Composite Structures Group (ACS Group) – an independent service provider and world leader in helicopter rotor blade repair. UAG has also appointed John Gow as president and general manager of the ACS Group.

ACS Group consists of Advanced Composite Structures in Manitoba (Canada) and Florida (USA) and Rotor-Tech International located in California (USA) and Brisbane (Australia) and has over 150 years of combined aviation experience and expertise in the repair of helicopter rotor blades. The ACS Group’s rotor blade repair solutions include repair designs with DOT Canada, FAA and EASA certifications, TCCA/FAA/EASA approved/accepted expanded repairs and in-house developed Helicopter Electronic Rotor Balance that is the most advanced static balancing tool in the industry.
