Vertical’s Helicopter and Engine Manufacturers Survey now open

Vertical’s 2023 Helicopter and Engine Manufacturers Survey is now officially open and accepting responses through May 8.

The survey is open to anyone in the global civil helicopter industry who has actively operated, flown, or maintained helicopters or helicopter engines in the past two years.

As the industry’s most comprehensive survey, it aims to evaluate the performance of major airframe and engine manufacturers on the quality of their products and aftermarket services. By providing honest feedback, respondents can help shape the industry’s future, as original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) use the insights to drive meaningful improvements.

“Now in its ninth year, this survey has become invaluable for helicopter operators to communicate their feedback on OEM products and services. It is also clear that OEMs actively listen to respondents’ feedback and adjust their business practices accordingly,” said Vertical publisher and owner Mike Reyno.

“Last year, nearly 1,700 helicopter industry professionals completed the survey, a record which is considered the industry’s leading measure of OEM performance in customer support. Because of this level of response, the OEMs pay close attention to what the industry has to say about their products and services.”

Once again, the survey is being conducted by PMG Intelligence, an independent market research and data analysis consulting company based in Waterloo, Ontario. All survey data will be kept completely anonymous, and Vertical will not contact respondents without their express permission. As a token of Vertical’s appreciation, respondents can enter a random draw for one of three $200 Visa gift cards.

“We encourage all operators to participate in this survey and share their honest feedback with the confidence that their opinions will be heard,” said Reyno. “Together, we can shape the industry’s future and improve customer support.”
