The Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation is starting the production of a new safety video on “How to avoid a wire strike during helicopter operations.”
As helicopter operators around the world are confronted with this danger on a daily basis, the Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation is asking the global helicopter industry and individual operators to record footage of any cables they consider dangerous in their areas of operation.
Short video recordings in 4K resolution showing the cable would be ideal. To do this, the foundation needs a map section with the maximum height of the cable above the ground.
