“I am deeply honored and humbled by this recognition,” Ferraro said. “For 50 years, from its beginnings at my parent’s dining room table where my father began designing and developing small oxygen components, East/West Industries has been dedicated to saving aircrew lives. We’ve grown to a team of more than 80 talented design engineers, management and support personnel that we’re proud to call family, and we look forward to continuing to innovatively support the aerospace and defense industry.”

East/West Industries was founded in 1968 by Ferraro’s parents. Ferraro joined the business 15 years later and has since built the company through successful fiscal, strategic and operational leadership. Over the past 35 years, she’s forged successful business relationships with major aerospace and defense contractors, including Northrop Grumman, The Boeing Company, Sikorsky Aircraft and Lockheed Martin. Recently, she led the most significant business expansion in East/West history, including a move to a new facility, expanding the company’s footprint by approximately 50 percent, and creating a plan to expand the workforce by 40 percent in three years.
