The aviation industry has embraced the lightweight durability of composite structures in their innovative designs, which in turn, has increased the need for composite maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. Kaman Composites is an accredited supplier, providing parts ranging from fairings and radomes, to rotor blades and winglets. In addition, Kaman Composites provides OEM and government MRO services for composite repair through its Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified part 145 repair station.

“We work on a number of the large-scale composite structures providing MRO services for government programs,” Andrew Chavez, general manager, explained. “Because of our expertise and the growing demand for composite repair that we are seeing from the aftermarket, we have decided to offer our services to a wider customer base.”
